Premium quality chocolate starts with premium quality cocoa. Besides Fairtrade, Belfine has its own sustainability programme Route De Cacao supporting 175 cocoa farmers in the village Tigorikro, Ivory Coast. Thanks to training they can produce more and better quality cocoa in a sustainable and responsible way, thereby increasing their incomes and improving their livelihoods.

100% of the cocoa beans are traceable to the farmers. We organise monthly follow ups with the cocoa farmers to check the training programme and support additional social projects.
